Rose Garden
This beautiful and fragrant memorial garden is located on the east side of the Community Rec Center. A view of the rose garden can be seen through the main Lobby windows, the Resident Lounge windows, and from the upper terrace patio just outside the main pool.
The rose garden was established in 1996 and began with just two bushes and is now home to over 80 bushes; each planted in honor of a lost loved one and former resident. The roses are maintained by our landscape crew and a small group of volunteers who give the garden a little extra TLC throughout the season. There are many varieties of colors and species of roses in the garden and during the height of Spring, the fragrance and sight are a feast for the senses. Bushes that become diseased or otherwise unhealthy are removed to make room for new additions. Next time you are at the Rec Center or pool, be sure and take time to stop and smell the roses.
If you are interested in supplying a tribute rose bush to our garden, visit the Lifestyle Office for further information. Availability is limited to current space on hand.
